A room can appear very bland or cold without introducing soft furnishings in some form or other. They can form a dramatic centre piece because of fabric pattern or colour, or they can compliment the surrounding curtains, blinds and wall-coverings to blend and unite a room together.
We not only specialise in new furnishings such as cushion covers, bed throws etc. but also love the challenge of reviving an old tired chair or bed headboard with new fabrics, offering a full reupholstery service. This is not only a less expensive way of redesigning your rooms, but the reupholstering of existing pieces of furniture can completely change the focus in a room.
CUSHIONS
Cushions are a clever way of linking other features in the room together by carefully selecting colours and textiles, providing the all important accent colour. They can also punctuate the mood of a room, silks and velvets for a soft luxurious feel or wools and plaids for a more contemporary but country feel.
Most importantly, you can change them as often as you like and this small change can make quite an impact.
They can be made to order in any shape or size. The interiors/filling can be feather, feather & down, hypoallergenic, foam or any other option you may require.
UPHOLSTERY
Whether you want to simply refresh tired fabrics on furniture or completely restore a piece with a completely re-upholstered finish, we will provide a full service from collecting the furniture item and returning it back with a new lease of life.
We have restored a range of furniture from antique wingback chairs, contemporary chairs, ottermans, coffee tables, headboards to mention a few. Each project will inject new life back into some favourite pieces. It’s a lovely way of bring a room together too by using the same fabric across a range of furniture.
Loose covers and new inner cushion pads are also an excellent way of restoring the support and gives a fresh look to old sofas and chairs.
TRIMMINGS & TIEBACKS
Whether for a functional or aesthetic purpose, tiebacks and holdbacks are widely used to dramatic effect.
We can make crescent-shaped, piped hold backs in any fabric and to any size, or help you to find the perfect tassel or fitted equivalent for a more contemporary look.
Collections of tiebacks and co-ordinated trimmings range from a traditional feel, that are bold and beautiful in their own right, to a simple discrete feel that injects that feeling of a personal touch at every level.
