
Whether it’s from the smallest of windows, to a whole house that needs attention, at EJS we value the consultation service as much as you do because our aim is to ensure that we get it absolutely right for you every time.
To do that, it helps us enormously to not only get a good look at the room but also a feel for both the client and how they want to use the room that is being designed for.
However, due to the impact that COVID-19 has had on current practice, we have also looked closely at adapting this service, to ensure that fabric selection, measures and installation can be carried out in a safe way and also remotely if needed.
DESIGN CONSULTATION

The consultation process is as bespoke as our tailored curtains, blinds and soft furnishings completely geared to suit your needs, helping you to bring your ideas to life with professional experience behind you. Ultimately we aim to make the process as simple and as enjoyable as possible.
The greatest benefit of the Design Consultation is seeing how you use the space and giving you the option of us taking the measurements for you. We often find this takes the pressure off you too.
After initially talking through the sort of ideas you may already have over the phone, we can arrange a visit, armed with an array of books that we will have initially reviewed for you. We are extremely passionate about fabrics and our experience is there simply to help you choose the right colours and textures to suit the surroundings and mood you are trying to create.
However, this part of the process can also be done remotely with fabrics being discussed over the phone before-hand to confirm a selection of samples that can be sent to your home. We can talk you through how to take measurements and even set up a video conferencing session to ensure we have seen anything that would influence design decision or measurement taking.
This consultation, whether at your home or done remotely, is designed to fit in with your schedule and because our lifestyles are increasingly busy, we are more than happy to arrange this over an evening or weekend.
Following the Consultation we will prepare a quotation for you that includes everything we have discussed. This service is completely free, subject to the travel distances involved. If required, we may charge a fee for travel expenses but will notify you prior to the Consultation and this fee will be offset against any order placed.

INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE
We also offer a complete Interior Design Service, whether it's redesigning, rennovating or a new development. We research ideas, putting together story boards if necessary to help you visualise the feel and colour scheme being designed. Using an extensive list of our suppliers, we then bring together products and fabric selections and talk through the process from inception to completion.
This process is completely tailored to your needs, tastes and timescales. and is charged for accordingly.
