Terraced House, Fulham, London

This is the second property we have been involved with for this client, but with a very different feel. A substantial terraced house in a lovely part of Fulham that received a significant internal rebuild with additional floors being introduced, ceilings being raised and a live-plant wall leading up to a new roof garden. The redesign was done beautifully, rooms made to feel larger without the need to remove dividing walls. Light flooded the ground floor with roof lanterns, black-framed crittal-style doors separated rooms, allowing light to travel through but retaining that feeling of having individual spaces - an elegant feel with contemporary hardware that juxtaposed with a staircase that felt ‘sweeping’ in it’s open but classic design. Wood was used extensively and in different formats too, giving a warmth that made it feel clearly personal.

The soft furnishings were rich in quality, subtle in colour and texture, sleek in finish. Curtains draped from eye-catching poles, voiles floated between rooms adding an airy feel, textured fabrics brought a sumptuous and contemporary feel to furniture, layered lighting that in its own right, meant business.

We loved the result….actually, we rather envied the result

" Thanks again Emma for knowing exactly what I needed without me having to explain. The curtains and soft furnishings are beautiful and  so elegant, LOVE the poles as it shows such attention to detail. You completely understood about the 'something different' on the dining room wall and the bespoke framed stretched rug is perfect...and frequently admired.  The lighting pieces we especially love too. We start a new project later this year and would like to start discussions about it soon"
