Town House, Reigate

Working with Charlotte, an Interior Designer herself, brought so much character and forward thinking to this project, turning some ideas on their heads with paints, papers and general colour schemes. Fabrics were mixed within the same room, choosing different fabrics for each set of curtains and blinds, dark toned wall paints were extended over ceilings to create a depth of enclosure within a snug, and significant attention was given to all lighting with layering and innovative shades. The result being rooms of great interest, and the more time you spent in them, the more you noticed the attention to every detail..

This was a beautiful family home, with a need to be practical, to cope with a busy lifestyle and, at the same time, needing to invite a 'relaxed and comfortable' feel. But it was also clear that Charlotte understood the importance of living within a beautiful space and marrying that with the practicalities of daily life. The result was inspiring and a thoroughly enjoyable process from start to finish.
